Christian Education has, and always will be a priority at Colonial Presbyterian. Our church views our faith as an on-going process in which you never stop learning. God wants us to meditate on Him day and night, and study His Word.
CHILDREN'S MINSTRY
Infants and toddlers (Newborn – 3 years) are provided care in the church nursery during the Sunday worship services.
Adult family members and a background checked nursery care volunteer supervise the children. We also have paid nursery staff worker who is available on Sundays.
Children’s church and/or worship bags are available for preschool and elementary age children during Sunday worship services. The worship bags are located in a basket in the narthex.
YOUTH MINISTRY
The Youth Group provides many opportunities for spiritual growth and friendship with Christian youth.
Middle school and high school youth are invited to participate in the combined Colonial Avenue Baptist Church and Colonial Presbyterian Church Youth Group, led by Pastor Melissa Scott.
The group meets regularly at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings for Bible study, supper, fellowship, and special mission projects during the school year.
Each summer the churches support participants who wish to attend Passport Camp for one week.
*Background checks are completed on all adults working with the youth.
ADULT MINISTRY
On-line Bible study is available each Wednesday on the church YouTube page.
An adult Bible study class meets in person at 9:00 a.m. in the church parlor prior to the worship service each Sunday.
Periodically small group studies are offered by our church or in collaboration with other churches nearby.
*Please look for special events offered throughout the year.
